The Dean of Instruction is the chief project manager for development of all courses in a curriculum. The Dean of Instruction will reports to the Sr. VP of Curriculum and Evaluation. Internal project teams are staffed in a matrix-managed environment, drawing from shared pools of talent for writing/editing/digital asset library/digital rights management, graphics, media, software and research.

• Selects external curriculum resources, as well as contract writers and development houses who build course components according to the Course Template.

• Communicates curriculum features and integrity to Marketing and Sales, and to accrediting bodies. Acts as the senior faculty of record for curriculum development.
