30 April 2007 - Police in South Korea have been called in to investigate the alleged theft of software code at the country's largest developer, NCSoft.

Seven former programmers are being questioned over code for the online hit Lineage III which has supposedly been stolen and sold to a major Japanese game company.

The suspects are ex-employees who left in February and permitted the Japanese company to see the code during interviews. Police believe that the code may have been copied during the demonstration.

A while back a senior game developer was sacked for poor leadership skills, and internal management problems followed as many employees quit with him.
