The water board licensed the Lawson Enterprise Financial Management, Human Capital Management and... Alabama water board signs

Submitted by admin on Wed, 2007-04-18 10:00.

By providing a single, comprehensive system, Lawson will help the Montgomery Water Works and Sanitary Sewer Board create a common source of accurate information across its human resources, financial and purchasing departments.

In addition, by automating many of the board's core business processes, the Lawson system will help it cut operational costs. For example, the water board will use the applications to better manage cost accounting for its portfolio of capital construction projects.

The implementation of the Lawson system is scheduled for completion in January 2008 and the board will decommission its legacy business applications by June 2008. Lawson Professional Services will provide implementation support for the project rollout.

Lawson serves more than 130 public services customers, including three of the top seven digital state governments and four of the 25 largest school districts in the US.
