To use the service, mobile phone users simply send the word "izishop" in a text massage to 06-70-70-60-500, and follow the instructions in the reply message (in Hungarian only). A Java application is installed on the phone, which in the future can be used for interactive shopping for products and services, for example, bus passes and train and concert tickets. It can already be used to pay the Ft 300 doctor's visit fee demanded from patients each time they see a doctor. The fee has proved to be a major administrative problem for hospitals, with patients being forced to stand in line for the right to be treated.

According to IT portal Jox.hu, the iziShop pay-by-mobile service is different from previous similar services because it is the first to be independent of mobile providers. It can be used in Hungary and abroad without previously signing a contract or depositing money to the mobile account because the payment is deducted directly from the user's bank account.
